The stock muffler should be disassembled to remove some/all of the packing to improve flow?

don't believe so, he says he has a K-Factory pipe

I thought it was an abbreviation for Kawasaki, yunno K-factory........

Yes as seanile says a K-Factory brand pipe, not a Kawasaki brand pipe.
I have silencers laying around lol, so I have already swapped out the K-Fac baffle for another with a bigger diameter exit as Nate recommended.
The packing is left in in the bigger exit baffle.
Haven't been out with it yet but boy does it sound good!

Stock restrictive K-Factory baffle on the right... The biggie, installed.

So,  my only mod is cutting out the cat/muffler and replacing it with the maxtorquecans midpipe, and a baffle inside the  midpipe since it was way to loud and raspy..  The O2 sensor is in place and i want to keep it in place. 

Is there a specific tune for the midpipe, and the O2 can stay in place disabled, right?

Call or email 2 Wheel Dyno Works in Seattle. They have different ECU flashes for a bunch of combinations of headers/cans (aftermarket and stock). I don't know if they have what you're asking for, but they may.
