New Member Living in the Czech Republic
on: January 23, 2021, 06:04:34 AM
Greetings from the Czech Republic, I am actually Scottish but been out here for a few years now, short riding season but the weather in spring and summer is perfect for riding.

This is my second forum up until recently I was riding a GSXS 1000 until a BMW driver decided it was time I got a new bike, result New Z 900RS.

Looking forward to getting top tips and ideas for the bike.

Already have a few mods on OEM Rad Grill and Chrome Grab bar with Evotech Shorty Levers and Tailtidy.

Welcome!
A play on words, or words on play
Last chapter, verse in the final act
Words well scripted, each sentence choking
Inaudible gag, blanket which suffocates
As you eat another's words, malnourished, you starve.

:400:   Good choice all around.  The weather is a little nippy here this time of year as well.  I still try get it out when the roads are dry enough.  Most guys feel the Z is geared to low and go up a tooth to a 16 on the engine sprocket.  I went to a 17T, but thats me.   An ECM flash is another popular mod.  Likely to do it after the warranty is up.  Once you can get some decent ride time in you'll know what you want.  Plenty of info here to read about on both topics.  Hopefully spring will come sooner than latter and put some of this covid crap behind us.   Good Luck & Ride Safe    :821:

Many thanks for the kind welcome.

No riding until March - April at the earliest I am afraid but I am away working at the minute anyway.

Yes looking forward to seeing what the bike needs but I will give it till after the first service to get a feel for the bike.

Thinking of a power commander or an ECU flash depending on how snatchy the throttle is, can't be as bad as my 2015, GSXS 1000 which I got used to after a while.

Stay safe  :305: :028:
