I use Howard Leight LL-1 Laser Lite Earplugs, they have a 32NRR.
Comfortable and inexpensive.

I use my Apple Air Pods with noise cancelling...these have been the best. I used to use earbuds with a wire between them....they worked good. I used to use foam ear plugs....they were the least good.

The Apple Air Pods block out the most wind noise, but also most of the exhaust noise etc if this is a concern for you? They also work great as earplugs when you are mowing the lawn, using power saws etc.

If I didn't already have these Apple Air Pods....I would opt for a lower cost wireless earbud with noise cancelling.
