Ok, so today I took the bike for a spin and paid close attention to the noises and feel of the gear changes.
What I got was that changing gears from 1st > 2nd, 3rd > 4th and 4th > 5th that is almost no noise and a very very smooth change. In fact, coming to think about it, I don't remember riding a bike with such a smooth transition of gears.
When I change from 2nd to 3rd I hear a louder sound and also got the clunky sensation.
But 5th > 6th is definitely louder and clunkier, by far.
Even though, the noise and the clunkiness doesn't bother me at all.
That got me curious and I was thinking if the gear ratios affect the sensation and noise of the changes.
Looking in the manual, the greater difference in ratios is when you change from 1st to 2nd (-29,4%), 2nd to 3rd (-19,9%) and 5th to 6th (-20,9%).
Could that mean something?
Here is the specs on the manual (gear, gear ratio, % difference when changing from one to another)
2nd 2,059 -29,4%
3rd 1,650 -19,9%
4th 1,409 -14,6%
5th 1,222 -13,3%
6th 0,967 -20,9%
