Hella dual horn upgrade
on: October 26, 2020, 02:27:38 AM
I honked at someone that merged right into me in traffic the other day and I could barely hear it through my helmet. Time to fix that.

Once the fairing was back on, it's barely noticeable.

I plugged the original horn wires right into the control side of the relay, then just added power/ground from the battery with a 15amp fuse.

I removed that ugly yellow cage and painted the disk black. Just a few hours in the garage, drilled two holes in the headlight bracket and some finessing, and voila... pretty damn loud dual horns.

Looks like a good upgrade. I'm waiting on a fairing to come in, once it does, this may be something for me to consider doing once it get's cold!
