The truck went from 18-19 mpg without, to 16-17 with the Edelbrock. Towing the boat, 9-10. On the boat, it's a single fuel injected 502. It's not as bad as I would've thought. Typically pull it out of the home lake 5-6 times a year and carry it to the Gulf Coast. Normally run in the intracoastal waterway approximately 5 days of the 7 and it makes it on a full 90 gallon tank. Plenty of little islands/sand bars in the intracoastal for the dog's to get out on without bothering anybody. Going from Destin to P.C., or Gulf Shores to Pensacola, that'll suck the bottom out of it. But I try and be reasonable on the boat and it's best cruise speed for mpg's is around 30-32mph. The bass boat on the other hand, I'm Wide Open!

What's a car ? 

My last real car was a Porsche 914/6, with a 2.5 liter built motor. 

My current 4 wheel vehicle is a Ford Transit 350 15 passenger van, converted to a 5 passenger van by pulling out seating for 10.
Gives plenty of room for hauling motorcycles and my Great Danes.

My neighbor a few doors up has a Ford Transit (white work van model). He uses it for transporting his dirt bike around to different motocross venues. That seems to be a popular way for people to lug around their bikes nowadays! It really does seem like a good idea

Day to day I drive an electric Renault Zoe. When there's anywhere open to drive to!

I also have a reasonably sporty petrol Clio 197... but it hasn't been on the road for a while. Partly due to usually being broken and partly because the petrol saving justified the finance on an EV for daily duties. However, now I'm no longer commuting, the intention is to get it going as a toy car and a run up to Scotland round the NC500 when we're allowed.
