I just received my abba super bike stand. I ordered it 8-25. It works great, just like the video. Fabulous. Iím 70 and lifted my 900 with one hand tied behind my back! $230 US, less money and way less hassle than a center stand. Highly recommended.

Hi Ken, Sounds good. Looking forward to you putting together a long term review on it. Did it fit out of the box or did you have to take some emory cloth to the pins like Entropy had mentioned in his post prior? I picked up the SW-Motech center stand for $220.95 U.S. shipped and all. If I didn't have the passenger peg there to grab on, Don't know how I'd get it up easily. But have gotten used to using it now, so it's easy peazy!

Nothing was damaged during shipping. No mods to the stand or the bike needed. Everything fits and works perfectly. The rear wheel/tire sits higher than the Pitbull. Very stable. I didn't sit on the bike or stand on the footpegs; nor do I intend to. Not necessary. Very Highly Recommended!

Hi Ken,
did you also order the front lift kit ?

With that it is possible to lift both wheels at the same time.
Perfect for the winter storage.

I dig mine.  Fits perfect, easy to use, stable enough I use it to wash my bike.  I love it.

I've got the center stand, & whoever designed it did his geometry homework. Compared to other bikes, this one seems to roll up onto the stand with minimal effort. I like the idea of leaving the rear suspension unweighted for the winter, as well as the ease of chain maintenance, (even far from the garage). Anyone got opinions on a front stand that would unload the forks for winter storage?

Hi Jim,
you can simply buy the accessory from ABBA to lift the front.
It works as easy as the stand itself.

Winters in Lancaster, Pennsylvania are mild enough to ride most of the season.  I plan to ride the bike at least once a week even if it's a short ride.  Keep the fluids moving and the battery charged; like us old guys!
