the day after i got the bike, i did a solo 400km run to the former US naval base in subic bay.
ran into some riding buddies, but declined their invitation to tag along with them as i was doing a break in run.
although that monster does look juicy...
anyhow, back to regular programming. i left the boys and rode away, cheating the 4,000rpm limit a "few" times.
about a 100km later, i stopped to rehydrate. this is the start of about 20km of very nice twisties

time for early lunch (steak!!) at meat plus. only three other customers are here at 1000hrs. bmws100rr, bmwr9t, and yamaha mt-09. no four wheelers and their screaming kids, yet. thank god.
i know what you are going to say. but sometimes, i like to live on the edge.
