HyperPro 461 Rear Shock + Xtrig quick adjust preload
on: February 12, 2020, 05:50:50 PM
I finally got this new shock installed last weekend. It's a HyperPro 461 fully adjustable with high/low speed compression and rebound adjust, plus I added the Xtrig quick preload adjuster. It's really sweet and now I finally have the compliant and controlled ride I was after, plus being able to easily adjust to suit when the wife goes with me or I add luggage.

Done anything to the front tubes? They seem to be very adjustable as OEM, but still harsh at times hitting sharp bumps.

Have you backed out the compression dampening?

Yes, I have played around with all the suspension settings. Front and rear. I write down all my changes as I go along. I am now back to stock settings and more prelaod at the rear.

The RS has good quality suspension bits. Still work in progress. I'll not replace mine with Olins or a aftermarket rear shock.

'It's a HyperPro 461 fully adjustable with high/low speed compression and rebound adjust'

How did you find what worked for the Z900rs? Their site doesn't list a shock for our bike? Just go by OEM shock length?
