How to get more space in the garage
on: December 18, 2019, 10:28:24 PM
Hej Guys,

I bought a used bike lift 2 years ago.

New to me but very helpful in the meantime

But is was always in the way in the small garage.

Thatīs where the project started in November:

The lift should be burried into the floor and we decided to cover the floor with 1/2 inch rubber belt

Nearly ready now  :046:

Nice job, but a helluva lot of work!  I always just park a bike on the lift.  Takes up the same amount of room.  Mine is foot pump operated though.

My Buddy and I spent 2 weekends on it.

The lift has a foot pump as well, we need a longer hose now but thatīs not an issue

Two points:

  • Is that gray pipe a drain or a conduit for power?
  • That’s a big bucket of ketchup.

The grey pipe is for the new hydraulic hose.

The foot pedal will be located at the sidewall away from workspace

I like ketchup  :745: :745:
