Low Seat
on: November 25, 2019, 05:38:53 PM
I am thinking of buying the low seat as I like the way the step down looks with it. How does the comfort compare to the regular seat  on a long ride,
Thanks in advance.

Kinda slides you towards the gas tank. Comfy otherwise.

My jaffa came with it. Weird.

Itís terrible tbh . Send your original seat to a proper upholstery firm mine is now like an armchair in comparison and looks std .
Core motorcycles of Lincoln UK did mine for cheaper than a new low seat
Honestly you wonít regret it

I have to disagree. I can ride my bike all day and I'm good. Like DirtyDave said it does slide you towards the tank and it bothered me for the first month or so but after that I don't notice, and I dont know if I would even trade for a regular one at this point. I'm 6' with a 32" inseam. I kind of like the more tucked in feel.

When I got mine, I had the option of the standard or the low seat. Tried them both and also found the low seat put me a little too close to the tank.  If I have my seat altered, I'd like the hump on the standard seat to be farther back a couple of inches or so.

I tend to slide forward a bit, but it's fine.   Well, for me but I can just as easily push my butt back.  I like having both fee on the ground when I want to.

That's because low seat comes standard in Canada and regular seat is standard in the U.S.

Montreal Motorcycle show end of month.

I do what I do in my garage, yunno sit on a bike and make vroom, vroom, potato, patato
sounds. Keeps me "sane" until it warms up outside.
