Wow. Looked up the valve adjustment on YouTube. Never knew how labour
intensive it was. I like my old Hondas a little bit more now. Can't imagine
how much the dealership would charge considering they took $300 CDN
from a friend to change one fork seal....

Gotta order that shim kit. Thanks for the link.

We would need to know the OD of the RS shims.

One spot Moto Guzzi's  are at the top of the list is valve adjustment ease. Sit next to it and it's all in your lap. Screw adjusters and all. Just sayin'...

Some of those older Hondas never needed a valve adjust, they did it automatically.

They probably didn't rev as high or run as hot.

Probably runs hotter, air cooled. Definitely doesn't rev as high.

My 2 boxer engine Hondas need valve check/adjustment at 12K miles. Pop off valve covers, loosen lock nuts and adjust
with a screw driver. No engine disassembly required. They are not hydraulic. Piece of cake compared to the Z.

Somebody call the wahh-mbulance......
