« on: June 19, 2019, 10:08:35 AM »
hi guys,  i live at manila, weather is a bit hot around 39c, wheneveri rev the engine hard during accelaration or just cruising on traffice speed, sometimes engine keeps on dying... anything i can do? i always set my ktrc on no.2 if that would make anydifference? it s my assumption.. hopefully i did set it on no.1 , but it also died once...
do anybody experience this kind of problem?

I had a GSX 750 F that did that a while back.

It turns out to be an old/bad air filter. In higher revs, it was preventing the engine from getting the amount of air it needed.

But I donít know if that could be the problem with yours. My GSX was carbureted...

Is taking the bike to the dealership where you bought it a possibility?

It's certainly not normal for a modern fuel inject motorcycle. You really should make an appointment with you dealer and have it looked at. Hopefully the tech can replicate the issue so as to diagnose it.

There was a problem with early bikes cutting out when the throttle was applied, apparently the idle speed was too low and setting it to 1150 - 1200 rpm cured it. Not sure if that's what your experiencing?
