Powder coat OEM wheels
« on: June 09, 2019, 08:19:58 PM »
Looking to powder coat my wheels. Thinking about going with gold. Any feedback would be appreciated.  First time ever on a forum so be easy on me... haha

Hello :) There's a green cafe with gold wheels, looks nice, I think the black bike will also look good with the gold wheels, not my cup of tea personelly, I swapped my black wheels with a jaffa owner so have polished rim wheels on mine and I think the extra detail brings it alive, as will the gold wheels on yours  :305:

I like the way yours looks. I would have kept mine them black but I hit a pothole with my wife on the back and bent both wheels. Had them repaired and might as well make them look like I want.

I think gold would look good, especially so if it matched the gold stripe on the tank.

wow, looks like you did well to only need to repair the wheels, that must have been one hell of a jolt!

Yes, my wife flew up in the air and happily landed back on the bike.

I know you’re talking about powder coating, undoubtedly a lot less money and potentially a different color shade, so this is just to give a sense of how this could look.

This is actually the shade of gold I'm going with, already did my Trans Am wheels the same color.

Just picked up wheels from the powder coat guy. I thing they look great.  But will have to see what they look like on the bike!
