Knowing when to stop is very important to me , or sadly it ends up looking like a Christmas tree or a accessory catalogue model .

After 20 years and at least a dozen bikes, I finally realized there are very few mods really worth doing or paying for general street riding and occasional hooliganism. I like viewing vids that some Japanese riders post because they're really into cosmetics and crazy-looking colors. It's not for me, but I like seeing how other people express their creativity and can appreciate it.

I'll pick comfort and safety mods over sound or "coolness" any day.

Spoked wheels look great on the right machine, but what pain to keep clean. I have spoked wheels on my BMW GS and I'm learning to clean them regularly so not so hard to clean if neglected.

Like many others here I've been riding since the late 60's and been through many many machines. LOVE the Z900RS, only changed the gearing and tail-tidy. I get the wanting to make these even more like the 73's but if that's what you want, for the money of a new RS you could find a very nice 70's to ride.

Funny, I sold my fully restored 1976 CB750 to buy the RS. As much as I loved that old bike, I had a greater desire for safety and comfort.

Kawasaki nailed it when they designed the RS, old superbike look and new technology, the riding position for me is perfect and it looks awesome.
