I've installed too the Puig shield the same way like you did.
I've only painted the metal brackets in black to be in harmony with the color of the bike  :038:
I confirm that the instructions aren't clear and the shild move a little with the wind or with the hand. I decided, in order to remove the shield in summer time, to unscrew the 2 screws on the shield and let the brackets on. :029:

Hum.. nice idea. I like it! :)

None side to side. The foam pucks are a must to keep it from hitting the gauges tho.

I also have none from side to side. Just a bit on up and down. I did put the foam pucks on.

SO i guess my installation si spot on :)

I really like the visor. I think the bike even looks better with it.

The windshield is good. Steady. No problems or issues. It looks great. I actually like the bike better with the windshield on.

It protects from the wind? Well, mid torso. I donít feel and I need to hang to the motorcycle so much when going above 100kps, but on the helmet itís the same.

Itís a naked, what are you going to do? :)

Iím now getting used to it. I use ear plugs for longer trips of when I have to do highway. It helps a lot.

I also installed a Puig Windshield. I drive quite a lot of highway and it really makes a difference... It is easy to install and its true that it moves back a bit from its original setup because of the wind. In any case very handy if you do some highway...  :305:
