Suspension Adjustment Terms?
« on: March 22, 2019, 09:45:51 AM »
Hi guys. Havong a bit of trouble in understanding the manual regarding suspension adjustment.  Also, english is not my natural language.

Regarding the rear shock preload adjustment:

What does it mean "1 and 3/4 turns out  from the sully seated position turned fully clockwise"?

I should rotate all the way to the end position (untill it cant move anymore), in a clokwise motion (from left to right), and then go back 1 and 3/4 turns? is that it?

What does it mean "X turns out"? In the oposite direction?

So for the rear shock the max preload is fully rotated clockwise?

Thanks.

No . That screw does the rebound damping . IE. How fast the shock returns to normal position . Preload is done on the two large castellated ring nuts   :158:

I noticed that as well, no instructions on preload.  I think the instructions for suspension adjustment are not that great.  My previous bikes instructions would give settings for different weight profiles.
