Z900RS Handle Bar Part Number?
« on: February 13, 2019, 11:17:24 PM »
Guys,
I own a Z900RS Cafe. I'm getting close to changing the Cafe bars to the RS bars. I know that some of the Z900RS models around the globe, have black bars , not chrome bars. That would save me getting a new Kawasaki handle bar de-chromed, and re-powder coated black. All I need is the Kawasaki part number of the black bars.
Any help out there?
Brian

I think this is the chrome bar. Guess you could google this part number or call the dealer with 5he number. https://www.genuinekawasakiparts.com/oemparts/p/kawasaki/46003-0687/handle

I figured out that it is the Australian dark green matt painted Z900SR model that has the black handlebars as standard equipment. So, if any one from down under could come up with the part number, and maybe a dealers name, that would be helpful.

Y2K18,
That number is for the Cafe black bars, like I have right now, I'm looking for the black RS bars that are pulled back slightly as compared to the Cafe bars. Thanks for trying to help.

Guys,
I just found the black handlebar part number for the UK version of the matt green Z900RS. It's 46003-0715-18R, and it's for the 2018, or the 2019 model. So, now I just have to find a UK dealer to sell it to me.

Talk to your local dealer with that part number and see if they can order one. If they can it'll probably save a bunch of fuss with international shipping.

Guys,
I'll check tomorrow with my local dealer. I also asked the UK dealer tonight by email.
Either way, it gives us a Kawasaki OEM black handlebar option for the Z900RS, or the Z900RS Cafe.

Guys,
I found a Kawasaki dealer in Australia that can have the bars to me in about 7 to 10 days, cheaper than the US bars.
If this all works out, I'll pass on the info to the forum, in case anyone else wants black handlebars for their Z900RS, or black Z900RS bars for their Cafe.
